Anti Constipation Diet
Look over this table of good foods and bad foods for fighting constipation. How many of the foods in the “Foods to Avoid” list have been staples on your regular diet?
Foods to Eat
- Plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits, including raw and fresh juices.
- Prunes and prune juice.
- Whole grains – one serving a day.
- Sprouts.
- Fibrous foods in general.
- Lots of steamed vegetables when you eat protein.
- At least 8-10 glasses of filtered water, plus herb teas, broth and other fluids.
- Supplements, such as Udo’s Oil, aloe vera juice, liquid minerals, probiotics and intestinal cleansers.
Foods to Avoid
- Bread.
- Cheese.
- Salt.
- Refined sugar.
- White flour.
- Lollies, biscuits and pastries.
- Excessive coffee and black tea.
- Carbonated beverages / Alcohol.
- Processed foods, canned, salted foods.
- Salted snack foods.
- Fried food.
- Excessive animal protein.
- Very hot or very cold food.
